LET’S TALK ABOUT IT
Got a question, a kind word, or an idea you want to run by me? I'd love to hear from you. Drop me a note below and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
REACHING OUT ABOUT MENTORSHIP?
I keep those conversations in one place so I can give them the attention they deserve. If you're a student or aspiring sports medicine physician hoping to connect, please start with the mentorship form instead.

A FEW THINGS PEOPLE ALWAYS ASK
I'm not an athlete. Is sports medicine even for me?
Absolutely. This is one of the biggest mix-ups out there. You don't have to play a sport to need sports medicine. If you've got bones, joints, and muscles, you qualify. A lot of what I see comes from everyday life, overuse, or simply trying something new your body wasn't quite ready for.
Does seeing you mean I'm headed for surgery?
Not at all, and this is a big one. I'm a non-operative sports medicine doctor, which means I'm often the very first step, not the last. My job is to figure out what's actually going on, guide your treatment, and tell you honestly whether surgery is even part of the conversation. So much can be managed without an operating room, and starting here can save you time, stress, and procedures you may never have needed.
Everything's started aching as I get older. Isn't that just arthritis?
Maybe, maybe not. Hurting doesn't automatically mean arthritis, and it definitely doesn't mean a joint replacement is in your future. Plenty of aches come from overuse or lack of activity, and plenty of them get better with a little time and care. The goal is to understand what's really going on before you assume the worst.
Can I get medical advice from you here or on YouTube?
I love sharing what I know, but everything I put out is education, not personal medical advice. It can't replace being seen and fully evaluated in person. If something's bothering you, please get checked out by a provider who can examine you directly. Think of me as the friend who helps you understand the conversation, not the one who replaces your own doctor.
